Dr. Abdollah Malekjafarian awarded Royal Irish Academy Charlemont Grant
Dr. Malekjafarian, a postdoctoral researcher from CCIR received Royal Irish Academy Charlemont grant. The scheme is a travel grants scheme aimed at early-career researchers who are not more than seven years past the award of their PhDs. It facilitates short international visits for the conduct of primary research in any subject area. Dr Malekjafarian will travel to University of Alberta, Canada to work on a project entitled “Drive-by Railway Track Profile/Stiffness Monitoring Using an Operational Train”.
